Mission 8 Sneak Peek

BillyBob posted a sneak peek for the next mission (8th) on their blog. It’s so exciting giving us ideas if it’s like related to the new play at the Stage 😛 It looks like some kind of crater or volcano, somehow related to “The Penguins that Time Forgot” ’cause there’s like lava on the set. 😀

He stated that this new mission will be ready by the end of this month. The Water Party ends on June 17 (Tuesday), be sure not to miss it! 🙂

New ‘Questions’ Page

Because of a notable number of penguins asking me stuff by comments or e-mail, I’m thinking of setting up a new page on Club Penguin Asia where you may ask questions related to Club Penguin, Club Penguin Asia, our penguins, or any other appropriate ones.

We will be answering all of your questions on the subjects above as soon as we approve them. Tell me what you think by responding/commenting on this post!

Water Party 2008 and “The Penguins that Time Forgot” at the Stage

The Water Party is a blast! Decorations for venues were similar to last year’s. A big blue whale has been used in creation of a room created for the party beside the Iceberg. You can dive in and catch the party until June 17 (Tuesday).

The Shell Necklace can be found at the Beach.

The yellow Inflatable Duck can be found at the Cove.

The Ice Cream Apron makes a comeback at the Plaza.

There’s a glitch when you ‘give a tour’ in the new Whale room, your penguin would say “Welcome to the Treetop Fort!” then continue on with lines when giving a tour in the Treetop Fort (the room just added for the Medieval Party in the Forest).

The new play , “The Penguins that Time Forgot”, has been also launched in the Stage today.

Funny pictures and hopefully, a caption contest, for the Water Party 2008 coming soon.

P.S. I just felt tired with the my old emote/smiley so I replaced “Ü” with a new one, “^_^” 🙂 LOL~! By the way, good luck today 😉 (Friday the 13th).

Club Penguin Times: June 12, 2008 and 110th Philippine Independence Day

The Issue #139 of Club Penguin Times has been released today. Here is a brief overview of the newspaper’s highlights.

The most anticipated party of the year is here! Expect hundreds and thousands of penguins to dive in and cool off in the Water Party – Summer 2008. Be sure to attend because there will definitely be exciting free items and venues. The bash starts tomorrow (June 13) until June 17 (Tuesday).

A new play at the Stage will be showing tomorrow! Its prehistoric theme makes it something unique and new for all penguins. Brought to us by the team that made “Legend of the Golden Puffle” and “Space Adventure” comes this new unique performance. Be sure to check out the costume chest for new goodies for the play! 🙂

The new format for the newspaper’s Events section is totally awesome! Here is the list of upcoming events in Club Penguin:

  • June 17 – Water Party 2008 ends
  • June 20 – New Igloo Furniture and Igloo Upgrades Catalog release & a New Pin will be Hidden
  • June 27 – New Snow & Sports Catalog at the Sports Shop

Mabuhay!

Today is the Independence Day of the Philippines! In celebration of 110 Years from the Declaration of Independence, I made an avatar of my penguin on Club Penguin!

More Information: The Philippine Independence Day (Tagalog: Araw Ng Kalayaan) commemorates the country’s declaration of independence from Spain. It was led by the first president of the Philippines, General Emilio Aguinaldo in his home on June 12, 1898.

Club Penguin Times: June 6, 2008 and New Hidden Pin

The Issue #138 of Club Penguin Times has been released yesterday. The Summer Kick Off Party is scheduled for June 13th (Friday) until June 17th (Tuesday). You can’t afford to miss it! I bet the new free item is another rubber ducky floater (either a green one or a blue one).

There will also be a new play at the Stage to be released on June 13th (Friday) in line with the launching of the 2008 Summer Water Party. The hint was ‘A play of prehistoric proportions’, I bet it has some kind of time machine flux capacitor thing! 😛

Here are the Upcoming Events for the upcoming weeks:

  • June 6 – New Clothing Catalog & New Pin Hidden
  • June 13 – Water Party Launch & New Stage Play
  • June 20 – New Furniture Catalog, New Igloo Catalog & New Pin Hidden
  • June 27 – New Sports Catalog

The new pin hidden today, the ‘Chocolate Ice Cream’ pin, is located on one of the trees in the Forest.

New Player Card Update

BillyBob released the new Player Card system design! It will surely be easier for us to find our stuff in our inventories.

The concept is like dividing our things into categories wherein we could conveniently find what we want. Now, instead of removing items on our penguin’s body one by one, we can click on the red ‘x’ mark to remove them all at once! 😀

BillyBob states that this will be a similar concept and design to the furniture inventory system. More information about the new Login system next week.

Coins for Change Update and Overview

For those of you who remember or participated in the Coins for Change Project last December 2007, Club Penguin has posted a video regarding that matter. They wanted us to see where our penguin coin donations have gone to.

It was so awesome watching this heartwarming video because you know you helped underprivileged kids, their health and the environment which will definitely make you feel good. 🙂

Congratulations and Thanks to everyone who participated in this project. 😀

The three important causes of this project have really been helped a lot because of our support through our virtual coin donations. The coins we donated decided how much of the 1,000,000 (a million!) dollar donation went to each cause.

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation thanks us for showing that we care for other kids and their families’ health. Thank you for being a hero in the fight against AIDS.

The World Wildlife Fund thanks everyone who donated because they can now do even more for the animals, their habitats and our planet.

Coins for Change was also able to help poor villages in Ecuador, China and Kenya through Free the Children Foundation. They would get new schools, access to clean water and more opportunities for families to fight poverty.
