Club Penguin also announced the winners of the Medieval Igloo Contest! 25,000 coins were awarded to each of the Top 10 winners…

the additional 20 winners were given 15,000 coins each 🙂

Upcoming Events for next week (more updates soon): As said above, the winning stories from the Igloo Contest will be published in the Book Room tomorrow (May 30th – Friday) and a new pin will be hidden together with the availability of a new Clothing Catalog on June 6 (Friday).

BillyBob thanks everyone who participated in the server tests last March, as expression of gratitude to us, they will be releasing the free item on our inventory lists tomorrow (May 30 – Friday).

He stated that the team wanted to deliver it through Penguin Mail but unfortunately, this feature together with the new login system and player cards, will not be ready by the end of May. They are in hopes of launching these new features later in June. Anyway, just keep checking back here for more information. 🙂

By the way, a good friend of mine, redbluemast, is having a party on June 7, 2008 at 7 AM PST in server Snowfall at the Dock. Hope you can make it! We’ll see you there… 🙂

Party Extension and Start of the Medieval Igloo Contest

Good news to those who just loved the Medieval-themed Party (like us)! 🙂 Club Penguin has extended the party to May 25th. BillyBob hinted the team was going to add another free item in celebration of the occasion!

The Medieval-themed Igloo contest, in line with the Medieval Party extension, will be upgrading to one of the biggest contests ever!

They will be increasing the winners to 20 lucky penguins instead of 10, and the prizes to 25,000 coins to the Top 10 and 15,000 coins to the others.

Tips and advice from BillyBob: Creative as possible, make it Medieval-themed (of course), use various kinds of furniture and have fun! 🙂

BillyBob says, winners will be chosen based on the sort of creative scenes and rooms you can make–not based on the amount of coins you can spend or how expensive your igloo design is.
